AREA Société des autoroutes Rhone-Alpes (AREA), a 99.82%-owned subsidiary, operates an existing 394 km network in the Rhône-Alpes region, with connections to the APRR network and to the Mont Blanc tunnel (via ATMB) and Fréjus tunnel (via SFTRF), which respectively link the French motorway network into the Swiss and Italian networks. AREA AREA was created in 1971 (with the company's first section of road, between Lyon and Bourgoin Jallieu opening on 6 November 1973) and became a semi-public motorway operator in 1984. AREA has been a subsidiary of APRR since 1994. The company's network, which lies entirely within the Rhône-Alpes region and for which it holds the concession until 2032, interconnects a number of the region's most dynamic cities, including Lyon, Grenoble, Annecy, Chambéry and Valence, as well as affording access to the world's largest ski area. |

GIE trafic APRR owns a 24% stake in GIE Autoroutes Trafic, an economic interest grouping created by six motorway companies (ASF, AREA, Escota, SAPN, Sanef and APRR) in 2002. Autoroutes Trafic collects, processes and markets traffic information provided by its members for distribution to various media. Mobile telecom operators (Orange, SFR and Bouygues), TV stations, radio stations and online services are currently the main customers of Autoroutes Trafic, which supplies them with real-time data on traffic conditions and incidents. |

Park +: Secure parking for heavy goods vehicles
Park+ is an APRR subsidiary that develops, builds and operates secure heavy goods vehicle parking areas in France. The Park+ concept is breaking new ground in France in terms of the high level of security that it offers. It offers a well-targeted response to the expectations of road haulage companies and their customers and insurance companies. |

Axxès As of 1 January 2007,Axxès, a subsidiary of several motorway concession companies*, has been marketing the new onboard remote toll system designed for heavy-goods vehicles across the French motorway network. |

SGTBA This subsidiary created by C-Modalohr Express (SNCF Group) and AREA (a subsidiary of APRR) manages a freight terminal on the French side of the Autoroute Ferroviaire Alpine combined transport link. AFA has been operating since November 2003, using 11-wagon trains to carry trucks through the Alps in three hours on the existing rail line between Bourgneuf / Aiton (in the Morienne valley) and Orbassano (a suburb of Turin). |
