The Group, which is strongly committed to service, offers its millions of customers high added-value services round-the-clock seven days a week, thereby optimising mobility, interaction and travel pleasure.

Informing customers

APRR provides its customers with constant real-time information via a number of tools and channels:

  • For information on routes, rates, services, subscription types, accidents and works in progress:
    • APRR: 0 825 45 107 7 (€0.15/min, incl. tax).
    • AREA: 0 826 88 72 72 (€0.15/min, incl. tax).

  • The traffic radio station: Autoroute INFO (107.7 FM)
    The special motorway radio station Autoroute INFO (107.7 FM) enables users to keep abreast of traffic conditions, anticipate problems and modify their itineraries where necessary,

  • Motorway information panels: these panels, which are controlled remotely from the traffic control units, provide motorists with key information on events and slowdowns, thereby contributing to their comfort and safety,

  • Customer centres (APRR networks) and welcome points (AREA network) spread across the network provide users with motorway information (services, rates and handy details concerning hotels and restaurants), as well as information concerning tourism (outstanding sites, regional points of interest, etc.) and commercial services (sale of Liber-t subscriptions and issuing of badges).

Assisting travellers

As well as providing information, the Group’s APRR & AREA networks have a total of 202 rest areas and 98 service areas with parking spaces, toilets and a wide range of services to optimise users’ journeys.

  • Catering services, hotels (in 13 service areas), shops, outlets selling regional produce and ATMs.

  • Free-of-charge services, including compressed air for tyres, waste-removal pumps for caravans, relaxation trails, art exhibitions, play areas and picnic areas

  • During the busiest periods (the summer and winter holidays), displays or activities may be organised.
