Since 2001, French motorway companies have been marketing the Liber-t remote toll-collection solution as a means of enabling vehicles to get through toll plazas with greater ease. At end-2006, the group had 508,000 badges in circulation. There are a variety of Liber-t solutions designed to meet the needs of various types of customer. The Liber-t remote-collection system for heavy goods vehicles was launched in early 2007, with three approved issuers – Axxès, Eurotoll and Total.
Users may subscribe to their solutions of choice via the website and at outlets. APRR and AREA have a total of 30 welcome points across their networks, where the service is marketed. The customer centres also provide a range of information on the Company and its environment (rates, traffic conditions, routes, tourist information, etc.).
