Its employees’ commitment and expertise constitute the APRR group’s greatest resource, and a major asset when it comes to meeting its customers’ needs in the area of quality.

Within this context, the Group is determined to provide its employees with a work environment that is conducive to job satisfaction and to the development of their skills.

Developing skills and potential

In 2002, the Company initiated forward planning for jobs and skills, one of the aims of which is to make the social parameter – i.e. employment and individual development – a more integral part of the company’s overall strategy.

Thanks to the added value generated by each activity, these actions help optimise functional skills, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the company.

Allow employees to steer their careers

An active policy for detecting potential, managing mobility and steering careers makes for greater individual development among employees. Thanks to this approach, it is possible to recruit new employees while keeping the expertise that has been built up over the years.

Investing in training

Each year, more than 50% of the employees take part in training designed to update their operational expertise.

Given the geographical spread of the workforce across more than 30 sites, training also plays a key role in terms of communication and interaction.

A total of almost 95,000 hours of training was provided to employees in 2007.
